Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our team in Chennai. As an Entry-Level Civil Engineer, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers and be involved in various aspects of civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher looking to kick-start their career in the field of civil engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in planning, designing, and executing civil engineering projects.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project requirements.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Perform calculations, analysis, and simulations to support engineering designs.
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions and optimize project outcomes.
- Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Participate in project meetings and effectively communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in civil engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong academic foundation in civil engineering principles, including structures, geotechnical engineering, transportation, and water resources.
- Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
- A positive attitude and a passion for civil engineering.
